Road Trips and Classes

2023 has so far been the year of taking myself and our lampshade classes out of the city confines and into some regions of the North Island, mostly accompanied by loyal and loved Fern, 10 year old labrador as well as friends that have fancied a change of scenery too!

It's been a dream purchasing the old 1976 pretty caravan named Pippin and taking her away (though completely out of my comfort zone towing and reversing her!), though winter in Taupo for instance was flippin freezing! I'm looking forward to summer weekends away with or without classes and as time goes on the intention is to 'pretty' her up more. She may even be used for summertime class set ups...we shall see.

Our classes are small, fun and informative. Working alone in my workshop on custom orders is what I love but often it is good to be out meeting new folks and always such a buzz to see happy proud faces at the end!

I try to offer a good 3 options for each class and sometimes people make the one in class then purchase the same kit to make a pair after gaining confidence.
